The Bowflex T10 can support users up to 400 lbs., whereas the Horizon Fitness 7.8 AT has a slightly lower weight capacity at 375 lbs.

Heart Rate Monitoring and Workout Programs:

The Bowflex T10 includes heart rate hand grips and an included armband, while the Horizon Fitness 7.8 AT offers contact hand grips and a wireless chest strap (included) for heart rate monitoring. The armband and wireless chest strap are more accurate and convenient than contact senesors and we observe this on our tests. The T10 features built-in workout programs and the JRNY app for interactive training and classes, while the 7.8 AT is compatible with popular apps like Peloton, Zwift, and AtZone if you use it with your tablet or smartphone. The upper tablet holder is great so you can see both the tablet and the workout display at the same time with no problem.

Console and User Interface:

The Bowflex T10 has a 10″ HD touchscreen console, which we found to be engaging and easy to navigate. In contrast, the Horizon Fitness 7.8 AT has a more basic 9.3″ TFT screen, and you have to use a tablet if you want to connect your treadmill with a training app. One feature we like most is, both treadmills have buttons on the handlebars for easy adjustments to speed and incline. Both models offer Bluetooth audio, allowing you to enjoy your favorite tunes or podcasts during your workout.

Warranty and Dimensions:

The Bowflex T10 comes with a 15-year frame warranty, a 5-year mechanical parts warranty, a 1-year electronics warranty, and a 2-year labor warranty. The Horizon Fitness 7.8 AT offers a lifetime warranty on the frame and motor, a 5-year warranty on parts, and a 2-year labor warranty. In terms of dimensions, the T10 measures 85L x 39.6W x 65.3H inches, while the 7.8 AT is slightly more compact at 76L x 37W x 64H inches.
